What age is best for a newborn shoot?

Newborn photos are best to be taken within 5-18 days after birth. Each session takes between 3 to 4 hours depending on how sleepy baby is.

Will my hospital or birthing center allow for a photographer?

I have not had many issues with this thus far. Most hospitals will allow two support persons in the delivery room. I recommend that you ask your birthing center in advance and we can go from there!

What should I expect for the newborn shoot?

You can sit back and relax! I will set up and take care of it all from start to finish, (other than breastfeeding)! You can enjoy watching your baby get his/her photos taken and get a few hours to yourself!

Do I get digital photos?

All of my the photos will be posted to an online gallery, as a JPG, where you can download, print, or send them for free! The link will be sent via email.

When should I book?

I recommend booking a session as soon as you know you want photos. I will always try to take last minute photos as well but can’t always accommodate because some months are busier than others and there is a limited timeframe to do newborn photos.
